Baby skin is up to 30% thinner and more permeable than adult skin, making it incredibly sensitive to irritants, harsh chemicals, and rough textures. Furthermore, safety hazards like loose buttons, weak seams, or improper sizing can pose real risks. Our philosophy is simple: if it’s not perfect for a baby, it’s not ready to leave our facility.
This multi-layered system acts as a safety net, ensuring that quality is embedded from raw material to finished product.
Quality begins long before a single piece is cut.
Fabric Testing: We subject all incoming fabrics (cottons, organic blends, bamboos) to strict lab tests for colorfastness, shrinkage, pilling resistance, and fabric strength.
Safety & Compliance Check: Every batch is tested for the presence of harmful substances, ensuring compliance with international standards like Oeko-Tex® Standard 100. We verify that pH levels are neutral and that fabrics are free from allergens and heavy metals.
Feel and Function: Our technicians assess the hand-feel, breathability, and stretch to ensure the material meets our standards for supreme softness and comfort.
During the cutting and sewing phases, our quality control teams monitor the production line.
Pattern & Cutting Accuracy: We verify that patterns are correctly aligned and cutting is precise to ensure consistent sizing and minimal fabric waste.
Seam & Stitch Check: Inspectors examine seam strength, stitch density (stitches per inch), and the accuracy of construction. We look for flat, smooth seams that won’t chafe sensitive skin.
Component Audit: All ancillary items—snaps, buttons, zippers, elastics, and labels—are checked for safety, secure attachment, and non-toxic composition.
Before final assembly, each semi-finished garment undergoes a meticulous trim and preliminary check.
Thread Trimming: Every loose thread is carefully removed by hand to ensure a clean, polished finish and eliminate any entanglement risk.
Spot Cleaning: Any minor fabric marks or spots are addressed immediately.
Partial Function Test: Features like snap functionality or elastic tension are tested at this stage.
Once production is complete, we employ the Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) sampling method, a globally recognized statistical standard.
Statistical Sampling: A random sample of garments is selected from the finished batch based on the lot size.
Critical, Major, & Minor Defects: Each sample is inspected against three defect categories:
Critical: Safety hazards (e.g., sharp objects, choking risks). Zero tolerance.
Major: Defects affecting function or durability (e.g., broken seam, faulty zipper).
Minor: Defects affecting appearance (e.g., minor stitching irregularity, off-color thread).
Batch Acceptance: The entire batch is approved for shipment only if the number of defects found in the sample falls below the strict AQL limit we’ve set, which is far tougher than industry norms for babywear.
The last step ensures the product is presented perfectly and ready for its journey.
Steam Pressing: Garments are gently steamed for a wrinkle-free, crisp appearance without harsh chemical treatments.
Packaging Integrity: We check that packaging is secure, hygienic, and that care labels and size tags are accurate, legible, and properly attached.
Final Spot Check: A final audit of packed cartons confirms the correct quantity, style, size assortment, and overall presentation.
